 State Internet Research

There are many state government sources available, including courts, laws, codes, and regulations. State sources include laws and State Supreme Court cases, City Codes, and County Codes.

It is helpful to check the coverage and date of a webpage. Many sources will only go back a few years. The older the information, the less likely it is to be on the Internet.

When searching the Internet using a word or phrase, it may be helpful to use a thesaurus or legal dictionary to locate additional search terms if needed.

The number of Internet sites is rapidly growing and sites can leave the Internet as quickly as they are created.

The following is a sample list of state websites.
