Tax Office

COVID-19 OPERATIONAL CHANGES

We care about the safety of our customers and our team, so our office is closed to in-person transactions. The State of Texas has provided deadline extensions for motor vehicle transactions. Governor Abbott issued a statement on March 16, 2020, granting a temporary extension to obtain initial registration, renewal of registration, vehicle titling, and renewal of a permanent disabled parking placard. This temporary waiver is in effect until 60 days after TxDMV notifies the public that normal services have resumed.
