My family and I moved to Rockwall Texas in 1998 after my retirement from the U.S. Army at the rank of Sergeant Major after 30 years service.  I am married to Teresa Lee Gates Sevier, and we have two sons:  Mason and Collin.  They both graduated from Rockwall High School.

I am honored, to have served as Rockwall City Councilman Place 4. I served three two-year terms for a total of 6 years. My terms ran from May 2006 to May 2012 when I termed out. Listed are some of the positions and committees I was on.

I worked for Siemens Building Technologies, Inc a large international corporation, as Project Manager Energy & Environmental Solutions for 8 years.  I have extensive experience in multimillion-dollar Energy Contracts.  I also worked on federal, state, county, and city government projects.  As a former Sergeant Major and Project Manager, I have extensive experience working with people at all levels to solve problems, manage projects and I am very familiar with budgeting, and working under time constraints.

I graduated from Vincennes University.
