The Summer Reading Schedule for children is now available online. The County Library is located at 1215 E Yellowjacket Lane in Rockwall. Start your summer fun at our “Superhero Training Camp” kick-off event on Monday, June 8th. Come and go between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for a good time of crafts, activities, and refreshments. Summer Reading Club registration for all ages begins Monday, June 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. and continues through July 26. The Summer Reading Club ends on Saturday, August 8, 2015. Weekly children's programs begin Monday, June 15, 2015 and end Friday, July 31st.
Don’t forget that adults can also participate in summer reading. Escape the Ordinary this summer by reading a minimum of five titles in any format. Summer reading for adults runs concurrently with the children and teen program—June 8 to August 8. Read five books in any format to become eligible for the prize drawing. Receive another chance to win with each entry. Winners may receive gift certificates and gift packages from restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, and spas.
