[ARCHIVED] Summer Reading Programs begin June 9th

Summer is coming and with it comes the fun of the 2014 Summer Reading Club at the Rockwall County Library. The theme this year is “Fizz, Boom, Read!” Children of all ages are encouraged to read about science of all sorts as well as inventions, engineering marvels, and the future of technology. In addition to reading books, children are invited to listen to stories, enjoy programs of puppets, movies, magic, and crafts, and participate in other great events. All Summer Reading Club programs are FREE at the Rockwall County Library. Come join the fun!

WHO: Children ages 2 years through 12 years may register for the reading club.
WHEN: Summer Reading Club registration begins Monday, June 9, 2014,at 10:00 a.m. and
continues through July 26. The Summer Reading Club ends on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
WHERE: All events will be heldat the Rockwall County Library, 1215 E. Yellowjacket Lane.
KICK-OFF EVENT: Start your summer fun at our “Library Laboratory” kick-off event on
Monday, June 9th. Come and go between1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for a good time of crafts, science experiments, and refreshments. You can also register for the Summer Reading Club at
the event. Summer reading programs for adults, teens and babies are also available!
